House Democrats Pass the C.L.E.A.N Energy Act
In a display of courage, the new Democratic House of Representatives stood up to the oil companies, passed the C.L.E.A.N. Energy Act of 2007, and took billions of dollars in subsidies away from oil companies and invested them instead in clean energy sources like wind and solar power. Now, it's time to tell President Bush to show, for the first time ever, some of the same courage and get serious about tackling global warming, the crisis of our generation.
